Options
Valance:
- Valances come in a Wood Crown molding or Modern Flat Wood finish.
- Fabric Valance
- Comes Curved or Flat and fabric wrapped. The valance fabric can be different than the shade material.
- Fascia
- Comes in a flat metal (White, Cottage White, Black or Anodized Silver)
- Raceway
- Holds end brackets in place for easier installation. Is used to attach a valance when ordered.
Lift System:
- Cordless (included)
- Make sure you can reach the top of the window to raise and lower the shade. If not able to reach, we recommend you order a Pole Attachment or Metal Cordless Operating Pole (below).
- Dual Shade - Roller Shades
- Allows for 2 shades (brackets are made for a stack installation. Usually a Room-Darkening fabric in the rear and a reverse roll Light-Filtering in the front.
- Coupled Shades - Roller Shades
- 2 shades on one roll that move together when raised and lowered.
- Top Down/Bottom Up - Honeycomb
- Can lower the top of the shade and raise the bottom of the shade to any position(s) in the window
- Top Down Only - Honeycomb
- Made for windows longer than 8 ' and up to 10' wide. Cannot raise the bottom of the shade when when the top of the shade is in any lowered position in the window. Comes with a cord-loop only to operate the shade.
- Continuous Cord Loop
- Usually ordered when cordless is too high to reach. Custom lengths can be ordered and are usually 4 inches from the bottom of the window..
- QuickRelease
- Is a one-click cord-loop cooperation to lower the shade. Blind can be stopped from lowering at any position with one more click Continuously pull to raise the shade.
Primefit - Honeycomb
- PrimeFit
- Is a cordless open/close shade made to fit with the shade cords nest to your windows casing on each side. Has no top down/bottom up exposed cords between the rails of the shade. 72 inch max width. See the sizing specs.
- Primefit Day & Night
- Two shades with one center control for sheer, light-filtering and light- filtering or room-darkening.
- Primefit with Frame
- Comes with a frame for door or skylight applications.
Motorization
- Motor
- For motorizing a single shade or group of shades.
- Remote
- You can order one remote per shade or group of shades. Each remote has 20 channels and can run up to 15 shades on each channel.
- Only add this option to ONE BLIND to prevent receiving extra remotes.
- If ordering multiple remotes, tell us which shades are to be connected to which channel in the order notes.
- Extension Cable for Motor (48’’)
- Allows for battery wand placement for easier reach or if a transform cable isn’t long enough to reach an outlet.
- Extension Cable for Motor (96’’)
- Allows for battery wand placement for easier reach or if a transform cable isn’t long enough to reach an outlet.
- Plug In 110v Motor
- Plugs into a 110 volt outlet and comes with a 118" cord. An electrician may decide to cut the plug end off to be able to hard wire into an electrical box.
Misc
- Shim
- Usually used as a spacer to lower or bring forward the brackets on an installation where there is a protruding frame or trim.
- Side Mount Bracket
- Is an “L” shaped bracket to install brackets in an arched window or a place where you want the blind lower in a window.
- Aluminum Light Guard
- Is an “L” shaped aluminum stick-on trim to reduce direct light from coming in at the edge of the blinds or shades.
- Wood Light Guard
- Is an “L” shaped stick-on wood trim to reduce direct light from coming in at the edge of the blinds or shades.
- Magnetic Hold Down
- Replaces the flexible clear pin brackets for holding the bottom of the blind/shade to a door. The magnet side comes attached to the bottom rail of a blind/shade. Just screw the washer side to your door in the proper position for a concealed attachment.
- Cut-Out
- Add one per side that will require a cut out to fit around back-splashes, tiles or window trims. See the specs for more details in limitations.
- Metal Cordless Operating Pole
- For operating out-of-reach blinds. Comes ina 30 inch length. Order as many as may be convenient, i.e. one for upstairs and one for downstairs, or one per room. Only add this option to ONE BLIND to prevent receiving extra poles.
- Pole Attachment Only
For operating out-of-reach blinds. Attaches to your own paint roller/ paint brush extension pole. Order one per group of blinds. Only add this option to ONE BLIND to prevent receiving extra attachments.
- Specialty Shapes
- For windows that are not standard square shaped. WBS will call for more details.
- Keystone
- A “V” shaped fabric or wood to cover the gap(s) on a valance more than 8 feet long. Valances can be butted together or covered with a Keystone at each joint when multiple shades are in/over one window.
- Control Location
- Comes with a tilt wand on the left of wood/Faux Wood blind. It can be ordered on the right side for a small surcharge.
- OSMO finish - Wood Blinds
- A hand rubbed durable satin finish with “sunscreen”.
- 8 Gauge Slats - Aluminum Blinds
- Standard is 6 gauge. 8 gauge is 25% thicker
- Metallic finish - Aluminum Blinds
- A brushed or glistening metal slat
- Privacy Slats - Aluminum Blinds
- No visible rout holes for lift cords. A bit more private and room-darkening.
- Perforated Slats
- 8 gauge slats only. Similar to screen material for allowing a view through but reducing the amount of light coming into a room.
Fabric Surcharges
- Room Darkening
- Roller Shade light reduction up to approx 75%. Honeycomb light reduction up to 90%.
- 360 Light Guard - Roller Shades
- A complete track on the left, right and bottom of the shade with a light “flap” at the top for almost 100% room-darkening.
- Sheer
- Softens your view while providing approx 50% UV light reduction. Is not for privacy.
- Day/Night Shade
- 2 shades ordered for 1 window. Usually a sheer and room-darkening or light-filtering.
- Fire Rated
- Has a higher fire rating for hospital or other commercial applications.
